NCLEX-PN®: Your Path to a Practical Nursing License
The NCLEX-PN® is the required exam for aspiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) / Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) in the U.S. and Canada. Administered by the NCSBN, it assesses the essential skills and knowledge needed for safe entry-level nursing practice.
To take the NCLEX-PN®, candidates must complete a state-approved practical nursing program and obtain an Authorization to Test (ATT) from their state’s nursing board.
